A Special Note of Thanks

Since I know that this woman reads my blog, I want to send her a special thank you for the beautiful Purim basket she sent, which was received today. This lovely gift made me feel so special, like a true queen.

Let me tell you a little bit about this woman. We will call her Esther, in honor of Purim, and I met her since she has been reading my blog. She is truly a bright light, a unique soul, who has a heart of never-ending love and compassion. When my daughter was in the hospital, she wrote each and every day, often sending bright, cheerful e-cards, and making sure our family was doing well. Her kind words and good thoughts often made my day, and were the springs that got me through this difficult time. When I expressed an interest in the Talmud, a few weeks later, in time for Chanukah, she sent me a set of a particular Tractate that I found interesting.

Esther is a busy woman, and has a family of her own and works a job as well. Nevertheless, she shines radiantly, always speaking kind, caring words and sending beautiful e-cards and thoughts.
I neither have her address nor telephone number, just an email address. Today, in honor of you and your family, Esther, I sent a Purim basket to an Israeli soldier.

Thank you for your gift of friendship, which I truly cherish.
