A Heartfelt Note of Sincere Thank You
First of all, let me say thank you to so many of you who have sent me emails, posts, or even called with your good thoughts, prayers and concerns. I am very thankful for your kind words and messages of support have been a great comfort to me.
There has been a crisis that has occurred within the last couple of months leaving our family in a state of fear and uncertainty. No one has died, thank G-d, but live is indeed in session, and our family has been forced to face difficult, unresolved and complicated issues. It is true that I am being somewhat cryptic, but I am unable to write about what is happening yet, as the issue is too painful and personal to share.
That being said, I continue to be a person of great faith, and in fact, these days, I have had to rely even more on G-d than ever before and trust in His ability to protect, safeguard and take care of everyone and everything in the world today. No human being is immune from life's pains, and it is truly the manner in which we deal with it, and the people who make themselves available to us during times of joy and times of sorrow that can make the difference between a giant leap forward and a small step in that direction as well.
Thank you again, truly, for all your kindness and thoughts.
Each day, one is given the opportunity to start and begin anew. I begin each day by being thankful to G-d for restoring my soul to me with compassion.
Thank you for your minds.

I can't imagine the struggle you must be dealing with Barbara, but I can tell that you are equipped with the spiritual tools to get through it. You said "Each day, one is given the opportunity to start and begin anew." How true that is, and each night I give thanks for another day...
I hope all works out for you and your family. My prayers are with you.
Mike
Finally, after a year and a half, I got an avatar.
I cal it MAN on the STREET, and I'm assumming you're probably just old enough to remember your mom talking about him...
And, as usual, I would like to bring you a bit of humor, how to turn lemons into lemonade, sort of....
and now, a word from The Man on the Streets..."boneman, are y'all there?"
"Yes, berry. Here I am, though not all would say I'm ALL here"
"so, what have you to report?"
"well, after a year and a half, it seems I finally have an avatar."
"That's a bit of a time to wait, isn't it?"
"Well, yes....but you see, Ive had a screw loose. However it's good not to tighten them too much, else they'll strip"
"boneman, it sounds more like you're a few bricks shy of a load..."
"Yes I am, berry. That's because I only need enough to build a BBQ pit."
"seems like the lights are on, but, no one is at home...."
"It's true. I leave the lights burning so folks who visit while I'm gone can see their way to the porch."
"yes, well....your elevator doesn't seem to go to the top floor..."
"Absolutely not! That walk up the last couple of flights keeps me fit and trim!"
"....."
"are you still there, berry?"
"Yes...well. You're just not playing with a full deck, are you, boneman?"
"Again, true! I love euchre and chess, but, I never really know what to do with all the other cards"
"....is this guy kiddin' me? Boneman, you're not the sharpest tool in the box, are you?"
"Heck no, berry! But then again, who would want a sharp hammer?"
"......ok, let's go to commercial"
Just checking in to see how you are doing.
Just dropping by to check in on you...
All my hopes...
Thank you so much, Mr. A, boneman, Jack and Todd.
For today, I am doing much better.
It is so nice to see you come by and think about me.
Many, many thank yous.
I can't show-off how much I've exercised my patience, but to realize prayer is from praise meant if I asked G-d for anything, the Creation wasn't being appreciated, If I could criticize G-d what (approval) was I denying myself? Could denial be the seed of depression? I appreciate how much you do express as the therapy of writing moves me ~ blessings
I just read the "time cures the ills and sets the good memories" (next post) but, found instead that some pains stay way much longer than one may want.
Ah, but, what matter, that? Pain is only pain. It cannot change my heart from helping others.
It cannot hurt me more than I already hurt.
It cannot do anything except nag at me with its dull, aching existence, but, that is null for me doing something else to help someone else.
Go help others, and while yer helping the pain is in the background. Stop helping, and the danged thing comes to the foreground.
